Debate Competition Final

The debate team of Sir Ellis Kadoorie Secondary School has achieved a remarkable victory in the 14th Inter-Government Secondary Schools Debate Competition this year. They won all three rounds consecutively, advancing to the Grand Final for the first time in the school's history.
Led by team captain Yazmin Tamrakar (5B), the team faced formidable opponents, including Shatin Government Secondary School in the preliminary round, King's College in the quarter-finals, and Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School in the semi-finals. The team secured decisive victories in each round, with Yazmin receiving the Best Debater award in two of the three rounds.
The overall debating skills of Yazmin and her teammates, Arsam Saberi (4A) and Mandasari Andrea Stephani (4A), have significantly improved throughout the competition. As the SEK team prepares for the Grand Final on 7 July, they face their next challenge with courage and excitement!
